Hi. My name's Fiona Johnson and I'm the owner of TallyHo Dogwalking. I live in New Brighton with my husband and two girls and we share our home with Izzy and Mousey, our Oriental cats. Pippin the dog used to live here too but sadly he is no longer with us. He has left a gap in our lives and soon, when the time is right, that gap will be filled. I'll keep you posted....

I have been around animals all my life.  My parents used to show and breed chihuahuas and I spent many happy hours at dog shows looking at all the different shapes, sizes and breeds of dog. We always had a Jack Russell at home so I have a special fondness for their cheeky ways. Siamese cats have been my constant companions since the age of 9 when I woke up one Christmas morning and found my Christmas present - Simon - a seal-point Siamese kitten. I'm a keen horse rider too and like to head back to Shropshire when I can for a hack out around the country lanes.

When I first started work I was in export sales and marketing. Money was good, but life was not fulfilling. I retrained to become a secondary school teacher and taught Modern Languages at various schools in the Wirral. This was an extremely rewarding job for 10 years but when my children came along it was time to reassess what was important in life. For me that meant combining my love of animals and the outdoors with a need to work flexibly. I set up TallyHo Dogwalking in 2014 and haven't looked back.

I know you love your pets - they're very much part of your family. And I know you wish you could spend more time with them, but sometimes work, life, circumstances just get in the way. Let me relieve you of some of the burden. I can walk your dog, clean up after your puppy or feed your cat when you can't be there.  I am fully insured and have a recent DBS (CRB) check.  I will always visit you in your home first so you and your pets can get to know me. I will pick up and dispose of dog mess and make sure muddy paws are wiped clean and dry before returning your dog home. I will only let your dog off the lead when I feel certain of his recall and with your written permission. I will also get to know your dog's personality before walking him with a group (I will never walk more that 4 dogs at a time). If your dog does not like to socialise, one to one walks can easily be arranged.

It is my mission to provide a first class service to my customers. I want you to feel 100% confident that you have made the right choice with TallyHo Dogwalking.
